Horațiu Savu is a primary dentist, Doctor of Medical Sciences and has a special hobby: motoring! He is a multiple national rally champion, a Master of Sports in motoring and is also dedicated to road education, holding courses and conferences on defensive driving and traffic behavior, both for companies and for children. He is a karting coach and organizer of sports competitions. He is married to Laura Savu, founder of Women Rally, and father of two children who are national karting champions.

In 1993, he made his debut in rallies, at the Alba-Iulia zonal round of Castrol Cup Promo-Rally.

“The story began with the modification of an old Dacia 1100 into a quite competitive car for that time and that’s how we found ourselves debuting in the 1994’s edition of the National Rally Championship. And as usual, the beginning was harder, because the rest of it came by itself. Driving is a virus you can’t escape”, says the Doctor
